passage to paradise
pay then to go to the unknown
or the
threat of born again and live again
we can't fit thru it with
the faith you carry on your back
or carry the horn that
blows the word of you
or fit thru with the pain or the
cross you bear
but naked you go and carry the torture
you
have seen, maybe you can.
you can't pay to get to the
known world
or traverse the thread that pulls you thru
that
narrow passage or eyeless needles eye,
but the remorse
you wear you can keep.
you pay to get to the unknown with
it,
but payment will not carry you to it.
You
cannot get to go where you want to go
and you cannot practice
depth to while your way in,
or with sincerity then, you
can't talk your way in.
you pay to get to the unknown with
it, and no decision
here will have the weight of that
coin.
There is no one before you to show you how,
and
no one when you are ready will want to go,
and even though you
are ready to fit
they won't want it for you.
You
can't cut yourself enough ways by feigning
payment as writing
down the bones will have the weight
to pass you through by
weight of your own.
maybe when you wore a victorian collar
you couldn't fit
thru that passage way, and you had to learn
modern pain,
the nine ways of pain or the way out is the way
in,
I say, your reason and wealth or love of love
or
writing the truest poem won't let you in,
and though you have
but a small time residence here,
you may be already there and
standing in paradise
and not know it.\\\
